How filters work
Check one or more options to show matching products. Leave every option unchecked when you have no preference.
Checked or unchecked
Unchecked
The option has no effect. Products with or without that value remain eligible.
Checked
The product must match at least one included option in that filter group. Powder attributes are stricter: the product must have every checked attribute.
The rule within one filter group
Most choice groups use OR: a product must match at least one checked option. Powder attributes use AND: a product must have every checked attribute.
If you do not check anything, all products remain eligible until another filter removes them.
Examples
Choose between several options
Chocolate and Vanilla checked
A product can match Chocolate or Vanilla. Other flavor families do not pass this filter.
Leave an option neutral
Chocolate checked; Vanilla unchecked
A Chocolate + Vanilla product can still appear because it matches Chocolate. Vanilla itself has no effect.
Require several protein attributes
Organic and Grass Fed checked
Only products that have both attributes appear.
How different filter groups combine
Different groups use AND. If you check Chocolate under Flavor Family and set a maximum calories per 25 grams of protein, a product must satisfy both conditions.
A single-value field such as Brand usually has one value per product. Multi-value fields can have several values. Most pass when at least one value matches; Powder attributes pass only when every checked value is present.
Protein source describes the ingredient providing protein, such as whey, casein, or pea. Protein form describes processing or composition, such as isolate, concentrate, or blend. Product attributes contain separate claims or characteristics, such as vegan or soy free. A “soy free” claim is not treated as a protein source.
Finding a brand
Brand shows a small alphabetical window instead of the entire catalog at once. Use Previous and Next to browse, or type part of a name to search. The count shows which matching brands are currently in view.
Numeric filters
Numeric filters use a minimum or maximum instead of checkboxes. A maximum calories per 25 grams of protein, for example, keeps products at or below the amount you enter. Products without that numeric value do not pass the filter.
