Using the comparison

How comparison columns work

Choose the facts and calculations you want in the table, then arrange them in the order that is most useful to you.

Shown and hidden columns

Shown columns

These columns appear in the comparison table. Select one or more, then choose Hide to remove them from the table.

Hidden columns

These columns remain available but do not appear in the table. Select one or more, then choose Show to append them to the visible comparison.

Arrange the table

Drag columns within the Shown list to change their order. The Hidden list does not need an order because its columns are not in the table.

Newly shown columns are appended to the end. Newly hidden columns are placed at the beginning of the Hidden list, making a recent change easy to reverse.

Always-shown column

Product identifies each row, so it remains visible at the beginning of the comparison and is not included in the column controls. Brand is optional: you can show, hide, or move it like any other comparison column.

Your layout is remembered

Column visibility, order, and whether the panel is collapsed are saved in this browser for this category. Changes apply to the table immediately; there is no Save or Apply step.

The saved layout is local to this browser. It does not follow you to another browser or device, and clearing browser storage can remove it.

Restore the original layout

Restore defaults returns the columns to the site's recommended visibility and order. Use it whenever you want a clean starting point.

Restoring the column layout does not change product filters, sorting, or any catalog data.
